Terms & Purchase

Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract comes into being only when we confirm the order and it is accepted for processing.

We may decline or cancel an order — before or after payment — where a piece is unavailable, where a listing carries a pricing or description error, where required documentation is not provided, or where an order fails our fraud-prevention checks. Anything already paid is refunded in full in such cases.

All prices are shown in Indian Rupees as MRP, inclusive of all applicable taxes. The price that applies to your order is the price displayed at the time the order is placed and accepted.

Prices are reviewed against prevailing gold rates and may change without notice. Any price breakup shown on a product page is indicative and uses a reference gold rate; it does not fix the rate applied to any future buyback.

Payments are processed through our payment partners. We do not store your card, UPI or banking credentials.

An order is processed only once the required payment — the full amount, or the advance under Part Payment + COD — has been successfully received.

Where Part Payment + COD is offered, an advance is paid online and the balance is collected at the time of delivery. Delivery is completed only against payment of the balance.

If the balance is not paid at delivery, the order is returned to us and the advance is refunded after the piece has been received back and inspected.

Cash-on-delivery availability may be limited by order value, by destination PIN code and by our courier partner's serviceability.

Indian law requires identification documents for certain transaction values. Where they apply, we will ask for PAN or other KYC documents before an order can be processed, and an order may be held or cancelled if they are not provided.

Documents collected for this purpose are handled in line with our Privacy Policy and are retained only as long as the law requires.

Customised, engraved and made-to-order pieces are produced for you specifically. Once production has begun they cannot be cancelled, returned or exchanged, other than for a manufacturing defect.

Production timelines for such pieces are confirmed at the time of order and sit outside our standard delivery timelines.

An order may be cancelled within 12 hours of being placed, provided it has not already been processed or dispatched. Cancellations within that window are refunded in full.

Every piece is supplied with a Swarnishq Truth Tag stating its declared 24K pure gold weight, its other / alloy weight and its gross weight, each to three decimals. The same figures appear on the invoice.

Never assume gross weight equals gold weight.

The declared gold component is intended and declared as 24K pure gold and may be independently assessed through appropriate refining / testing methods.

Each piece is finished by hand. Minor variations in weight, dimension and finish within accepted manufacturing tolerances are normal and are not defects. The figures that govern your piece are the ones declared on its own Truth Tag and invoice, not the representative figures on a product page.

Photography is styled and colours can differ between screens. Where scale matters, the product page states the dimensions.

Where hallmarking applies to a piece, its hallmark and HUID details are recorded on the invoice and in the product documentation supplied with it.

If you need this confirmed for a specific design before ordering, an advisor will check that piece for you.

Care guidance published on this website is general in nature. Fine jewellery is affected by how it is worn and stored, and by contact with cosmetics, perfume, chlorine, sea water and household chemicals.

Damage arising from misuse, accident, alteration, or work carried out by anyone other than us or an authorised partner is not covered.

Cleaning, checking, refinishing, repair and fit adjustment are available on eligible designs. What is possible depends on the specific piece and is confirmed to you, with any applicable charges, before work begins.

Alterations carried out elsewhere may affect a piece's eligibility for return, exchange or buyback.

100% Buyback on Eligible Declared 24K Pure-Gold Content*

Eligible declared 24K gold weight (post wear & tear assessment) × applicable 24K gold rate on the day = buyback value, paid at 100%.

Other / alloy weight and gross weight are never valued.

If you pledge a Swarnishq piece, disclose its gross weight, its declared 24K gold weight and its other weight separately, and provide the invoice and the Truth Tag.

Never assume gross weight equals gold weight.

Any valuation offered by a lender is made on that lender's own terms and is unconnected with our buyback promise.

Designs, product names, collection names, photographs, illustrations, text and the MVG Swarnishq name and marks are our property or are used under licence, and may not be copied, reproduced or used commercially without written permission.

Orders may be verified before dispatch, including by contacting you on your registered mobile number or email. We may decline, hold or cancel an order that fails verification, and we may decline to serve accounts associated with fraudulent or abusive activity.

These terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts at Mumbai, Maharashtra have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
