Buyback Terms

• MVG Swarnishq jewellery only. We do not buy back jewellery purchased elsewhere.
• Supported by its original invoice and the documentation supplied with it.
• Identifiable against its Truth Tag — Product ID and Design No.
• Subject to the condition of the piece and the recoverable weight established on assessment.

• Declared 24K pure-gold content — fully eligible.
• Other / alloy weight — not gold, and not eligible.
• Gross weight — never treated as gold for buyback.

Always refer to the Truth Tag and invoice for the exact declared figures for your piece.

Eligible declared 24K gold weight (post wear & tear assessment) × applicable 24K gold rate on the day = buyback value, paid at 100%.

Other / alloy weight and gross weight are never valued.

Wear and tear is applied to the eligible declared 24K gold weight before valuation. The rate used is the applicable 24K gold rate on the date of the buyback, not the rate at the time of purchase and not the reference rate used in any price breakup.

Buyback is against eligible declared 24K gold content. It is not a buyback of the MRP paid, and it is not a buyback of gross weight.

• The original Swarnishq invoice for the piece.
• The Truth Tag and the product documentation supplied with it.
• Valid photo identification of the registered buyer.
• Bank account details in the same name, for settlement.
• PAN or other KYC documents where the transaction value requires them.

1. 1Bring the piece to a Swarnishq store or an authorised location, with the documents above.
2. 2Verification — the piece is identified against its Truth Tag and invoice, and the documents are checked.
3. 3Evaluation — the eligible declared 24K gold weight is established after a wear-and-tear assessment, and the value is calculated at the applicable rate on that day.
4. 4Settlement — once you accept the assessed value, payment is made to your registered bank account and the documentation is closed and shared with you.

• Buyback is carried out at a Swarnishq store or an authorised location only.
• The condition of the piece affects the assessment. A complete piece in its original form is assessed in the ordinary way; a broken or partial piece is assessed on its recoverable declared 24K gold weight.
• A piece that has been melted, refined, altered or assessed outside our process can no longer be identified against its Truth Tag and invoice, and cannot be accepted under this promise.
• The applicable rate is the 24K gold rate on the date of the buyback and is not held or reserved in advance.
• Buyback is not a buyback of MRP and not a buyback of gross weight.
